AMZ Consultancy, a specialist in trading and advertising on marketplaces, is taking over the site and customers of Amazonsellers.nl.

The owners of Amazonsellers.nl are transferring approximately ten smaller customers to the new Amsterdam owner. The parties are keeping the amount of money involved in the transaction private.

The sale took place at the beginning of June.

Thijs van der Haak of AMZ Consultancy: “We have known each other for a while and the opportunity came our way by chance. This concerns a group of smaller customers that we can serve well. Next year we want to focus on larger companies and brands.”

His company is an agency with seven employees that helps brands set up and manage seller accounts on Amazon and bol.com. This also includes holding on-site advertising campaigns. That is a specialised service in itself in the world of online advertising.

“Last year, the work has changed, because we also started focusing on a number of niche marketplaces.” These are marketplaces for construction, but also Kruidvat and Blokker, for example. Companies like Decathlon and Mediamarkt also allow third parties to use their digital shelf space for a fee. “It is a bit more technical to work with multiple marketplaces. You then have to rely on integrators like Channable and ChannelEngine.”

For the time being, Van der Haak is keeping the site Amazonsellers.nl up and running for marketing and SEO purposes.
